Documentation Process

Accessibility Services requires students to provide formal documentation in the form of one or more of the following:

  • Psycho-educational assessment completed by a registered psychologist
  • Functional Assessment Form – completed by a medical practitioner
  • Detailed medical letter from a medical practitioner
  • IPP/LSP – An Individual Program Plan or Learner Support Plan may be considered for accommodation purposes by an Accessibility Advisor.  Accommodations from high school do not automatically transfer to SAIT. The student is required to provide a copy of their IPP/LSP to an Accessibility Advisor.

If you think you may have a condition affecting your learning but have not been formally diagnosed, Accessibility Services can provide you with referral information.
