Q. What is the Library doing in response to COVID-19?

Q. I need to withdraw from my program. How can I get the form signed by the Library?

Q. How do I search for Library resources?

Most of our resources can be found and accessed through the main search box on the Library homepage. Several e-resources are not included in this search, including but not limited to Mitchell ProDemand, ALLDATA, Anatomy.TV, and more.

Q. Can the Library get me this book/article?

Check the Library Search for your item to make sure it's not already in our holdings. If it's not, you can either request items from other libraries or suggest a title to purchase. The Library cannot guarantee access to all items due to availability, publisher restrictions, etc.

Q. What can the Library help me with?

Library staff can assist with questions related to using our resources as well as basic research and citation questions via email and chat. For in-depth support, contact the liaison librarian for your school.

Q. Can I buy my textbooks at the Library?

No - the Library does not sell textbooks. You can buy textbooks at the SAIT Bookstore.

Q. When is the Library open?

The physical space is currently closed, but staff are available to help through chat during the hours listed on our website. You can also email or book an appointment with your liaison librarian.

Q. Can I use the Library printers?

As access to campus is restricted, we cannot provide access to our printers at this time. Calgary Public Library is now offering a curbside pickup for printing. You can also print at Insource located at North Hill Mall.

Q. Does the Library offer any other support services?

We recommend checking out our partners in the Lamb Learner Success Center and in Student Development and Counselling.
