Natoysopoyiis: Personal Librarian: Home

This guide is intended to highlight resources available at the Reg Erhardt Library to support Indigenous students in their studies and their personal reading interests.

Welcome to the Indigenous Resources: Personal Librarian Guide. My name is Kevin and I am the Personal Librarian for Indigenous students at SAIT.

What is a Personal Librarian and why do I need one?

A Personal Librarian is someone that will provide Library support to you. That means I will:

  • support research for your assignments (brainstorming topics, finding resources, etc.)
  • provide guidance on citations
  • recommend resources that may help you with your studies
  • help navigate how the Library "works." Meaning: help you find, borrow, renew, or return items
  • keep you up to date on library events
  • bring new resources to your attention

Your Personal Librarian is another means of support during your time at SAIT. Transitioning to post-secondary studies can cause unnecessary stress or confusion and I'm here to help with that!

You can email me, call my office phone, or book an appointment over video or in-person using the schedule a consultation button to the right.
