Open registration workshops & incentives

Open Registration Workshops

Writing Services offers and facilitates open registration workshops at the beginning of each semester to students. Workshops are currently offered online, and dates and times are posted on our Events Page. Any SAIT student may register to attend.

Workshop descriptions are attached below. Please feel free to click on the document and download the file:

Bonus Points & Incentives

Instructors can help support student attendance at workshops by offering incentives for attendance. The easiest way to do this is by offering bonus points for each workshop attended. It's a great way to encourage students to attend workshops outside of class time and develop their writing skills!

Students attending a workshop will fill out a participation form via a secret link. They will then receive a copy of their responses. Students are responsible for sending instructors a copy of their form(s) as proof of attendance.
