Pre-Employment Study Skills and Exam Prep Information: Home

A guide for trades students to achieve study skills and exam success with the use of SAIT Library, campus and external resources.

Pre-employment programs give you the foundation to enter the workforce and become an apprentice.

Whether you are looking for a pre-employment programme or you are already enrolled, the SAIT Library has the on-shelf and online resources to help you.

Geared toward students interested in a trade who don't yet have knowledge or training in a field, the program offers all the same course materials as the apprenticeship program, but with additional hands-on skills and safety training.

After successfully completing the pre-employment program, students will be eligible to write the first-year apprenticeship exam for the trade.

For a complete trades list, search "Pre-employment" on the SAIT Programs and Courses website.
