The Library has a collection of Windows laptops for students and staff to borrow. Laptops are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be pre-booked. Your laptop must be returned before the Library closes on the day borrowed. When you return a laptop, it must stay with us for at least 1 hour before you can borrow it again. See the Borrowing Materials page for lending rules, late fees, liability and more.
These laptops run Windows 10 and come with our common applications package. They all have an embedded webcam. It is not possible to install other software applications.
You can ask for a laptop and accessories at the Information Desk.
You must sign-in to these laptops with your SAIT network credentials.
If you get a error at the Windows sign-in saying the domain is unavailable, use a network cable to connect directly to the SAIT network. After the sign-in process completes you should be good to sign-in over Wi-Fi, whether on- or off-campus. Network cables are available at the Information Desk.
If you're unsure about your credentials or have other technical issues, contact the ITS Service Portal.

Effective Monday, April 29th, 2024 the library will no longer lend cameras and VR kits.
We have decided - after extensive consideration - that the library does not have sufficient resources to appropriately support cameras, VR kits and related equipment. Some equipment will be transferred to the Connector Lab in Thomas Riley, TU103. Contact the Connector Lab to arrange a time to access their space and equipment.
