To upload a video to YouTube, you must have a Google account. A Google account will also let you access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar and many other services.
Option 1: Have an existing Google account.
If you use Gmail or other Google services, you already have a Google account and can sign into YouTube with your username and password.
If you already have a Google account, go to "Option 1: Login to Google" below.
Option 2: Create a Google account.
If you do not already have a Google account, go to "Option 2: Create a Google Account" below.
Step 1: Go to Google, click the "Sign in" button.
Step 2: Enter your Google account email or phone number, and your password.
Congratulations! You are now signed into Google (including YouTube) and ready to upload your video.
Step 1: Go to Google, click the "Sign in" button.
Step 2: Click "Create account", then "For my personal use".
Step 3: Follow the directions for entering your information.
Step 4: Review Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, select "I agree" box, then click "Next step" button.
Step 5: A new box will appear, click the "Next step" button.
Congratulations! You are now signed into Google (including YouTube) and ready to upload your video.
