Please consult the official Vancouver Style Guide to view examples of reference list entries.
The reference list at the end of your paper will be a list of every source you cited in your assignment, in the order you cited them.
- When creating your reference list, ensure you are following the correct format for the type of source you are citing. Ask yourself what type of source you are using and then locate the applicable chapter in the Vancouver Style Guide.
- Use the template provided at the top of the page (of each Vancouver Style Guide chapter) to construct your reference list entry. If you are not able to locate the information you need to create the reference list entry, scroll down to the "Citation Rules with Examples" section which is just below the template. From here, you can click on the element you are unable to locate to see what the alternatives are.
