STEP 1: Choose your Citation Style

SAIT supports two main citation styles. Always check with your instructor to see what citation style they require.

  • APA Style - used primarily in Business programs (COMN220)
  • IEEE Style - used primarily in Engineering Technology programs and other technical programs (COMM238, COMM256)

Vancouver is also used in a select few programs in the School of Health and Public Safety.
