Until your reading list has been finalized and sent to the library for processing, it will be set to Draft mode and not visible to students. To see how a reading list will look to students before making it visible, click the View list as a student link from the purple banner shown in the image below:
Once you are ready to publish your list and send it to the library for processing, click the button labeled My list is ready from the green banner. This will notify the library that your reading list is ready to be processed, where we will verify that URL links are working properly and process your course reserve requests. Upon sending your list to the library, you can publish the list and make it visible to students. If you would like to revert your list back to Draft mode at any point while you make changes, click the horizontal ellipsis near the top left of the list and choose the Unpublish List option from the drop down menu:
If you would like to continue adding items to your list once it is published, you are able to do so. The library will be notified of any citation on your list that needs processing, such as physical course reserve, digitization, and eBook/print book purchase requests. For items added that do not need processing, such as readily available articles/eBooks that the library has access to, the course reserves department will not be notified. In these cases, it is important to check the View Online link from the item record to ensure that it is working properly. If an issue with access is discovered, please contact the reserves coordinator for assistance.
