Examples of the some of the “Pathways” you can explore include:

Calming Your Worry

You may select from two versions of this pathway: One focuses on broad life experiences, while the other is specific to the typical challenges of a postsecondary student. Both versions teach you to recognize and understand how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors and provide a variety of strategies to promote relaxation and overall wellbeing.

Let Go and Be Well

This Pathway teaches skills in the area of Resilience, which refers to the ability to successfully adapt to change and stress. In addition to learning mindfulness techniques, you will also begin to clarify and understand your own personal values and how to integrate them into your life.

Interpersonal Relationships and Communication

A big part of managing life as a postsecondary student and learning the skills necessary to be a successful professional is managing relationships. This pathway will help you understand how to improve your relationships by building communication skills, managing conflict and challenging communication and finding ways to manage anger.

Leave Your Blues Behind

This pathway will encourage you to develop and practice skills in learning how to think more positively. You will learn how to watch your thoughts and to frame them in a more constructive light which can in turn have a positive impact on your behaviour. There is also instruction on mindfulness techniques to assist you in being more present in the moment.

Improving Your Mood

This pathway provides learning related to becoming active and engaging in your life, particularly during those times when you feel down.  By learning to challenge yourself to engage with your life, you will begin to feel better and have a more positive outlook on life.
