INST 396: Analytical Instrumentation Capstone Project: Find sources

Getting started with research

  1. Once you've clearly defined your research direction, identify related concepts to use as your search terms.
  2. Select the appropriate tools for your search. Start broadly with the Library Search, or go directly to the specialized subject databases.
  3. Keep track of your research findings! Consider using a tool like Google Documents or Google Spreadsheets to keep track of the resources you find and share them with your group members.
