I've had items out since you closed in March. Can I return them yet?
Yes. If you've had books or other items out since our shut down in March, you can now return those items. See the Returning Books side bar on the CurbSide Pickup page for details.
To make it easier for you to plan your return, your due date is December 18, 2020.
We are not charging late fees, but if you hold items past this date you may be charged a replacement fee. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you cannot return your books to campus.
Is the Library open? What are your current hours?
Are staff available to assist me?
The Library Information Desk is not open. But, for general inquiries and basic assistance with research and citations, you can send us an email or use our online chat service. For in-depth research and citation assistance, book a video, voice, or chat appointment with the liaison librarian for your school.
Can I still borrow books (or course textbooks, course reserves, DVDs, laptops, media items, etc.)?
There is a limited curbside pickup service for materials from our main circulating collection (mostly items with location 'Level-0'). Other collections - such as, Course Textbooks, laptop computers, DVDs and media items - are not currently available.
See the Curbside Pickup services page for details.
You may also be able to request a digital copy of materials not available for loan. See the Digitization Service page for more information.
Can I access library resources online?
If you are a current student or staff member, online books, videos, journals and other resources via Library Search and our subject guides are also available online. You may be asked to log in to access some resources.
You can also still request articles through interlibrary loan.
Are math and writing tutors still available?
Information on tutoring is available on the Academic Coaching and Tutoring page. SAIT also has partnered with an online tutoring service. Visit Tuber Education for more information. If you are looking for Writing Help, email your assignment/written work to email@example.com to receive feedback. You can also book a phone or video appointment by calling 403.284.7050
