Spatial data is data related to geographic features or locations. Non-spatial data, sometimes referred to as attribute data, is data not inherently spatial but may be related to geographic features. SAIT students and faculty sometimes use spatial and/or non-spatial data for assignments or projects. This guide will provide information on SAIT-licensed data, as well as public data, available to faculty and students.
